Green River has always missioned to achieve “clean” production and has been tirelessly trying and seeking solutions for this purpose. Green River partnered with Scheuch GmbH, a leading Austrian air pollution control company with a half-century of history, and successfully installed a wet electro-static precipitator (WESP), the first exhaust gas purification system in Southeast Asia’s wood-based panel industry.
The wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) can capture over 99% of particles, purifying the dust and exhaust that may be emitted during production and recycling it back into the process. The recovered wood dust is used as a fuel, reducing the environmental impact of using petrochemical fuels in the manufacturing process and lowering the emission of pollutants such as PM2.5 in exhaust gases. This ensures that only clean air is released into the atmosphere, protecting the health of employees and surrounding communities.
