Use of Sawmill by-Products
Green River has a total of seven factories, including solid wood factories, solid wood particleboard factories, and decorative panel factories. Among them, there are three sawmills, which enable Green River to coordinate upstream and downstream resources and promote the convenient and efficient production of board materials, thus promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction.
Green River’s factories are located in the rubber forests of southern Thailand. Fresh wood is delivered to the factories every day. Green River has been deeply involved in Thailand for more than 20 years and has a well-established network for collecting wood, ensuring a sufficient supply of raw materials.
Green River recycles rubber wood and by-products from its sawmills to produce particleboard, thus protecting the climate and natural resources. During the logging, transportation, and use of wood, the amount of CO₂ emitted is much less than the amount of carbon absorbed by the wood.
